Welcome to Commonwealth Corporation

Commonwealth Corporation has a 25-year history developing and implementing innovative workforce development programs in Massachusetts. The foundation of our work is partnership: bringing the private and public sectors together to create lasting change. Our initiatives benefit both the future and current workforce; improving educational outcomes, increasing opportunities for better jobs and higher wages, and helping businesses gain and maintain a competitive advantage.

Our unique approach brings together research and evaluation, program model development, and sharing our learning for continuous improvement. Our status as a quasi-public and the credibility we have established over the years enable us to leverage significant new resources for Massachusetts from both public and private-sector sources.

Our sector initiatives are enabling workers to move up the career ladder and increase earnings while providing employers with a skilled workforce. Our youth programs are expanding learning and career opportunities for youth. Our research and evaluation is providing the workforce system with the information needed to make evidence-based policy and program decisions.
