Establishing Effective Workforce Development Programs
The Massachusetts Association for Community Development, along with partners including Commonwealth Corporation,
have recently published "Establishing Effective Workforce Development Programs
". This resource guide is written for community action agencies, community-based organizations, and will be of interest to
organizations working with them. It's designed to help these organizations strengthen current services and/or provide new workforce
development programs by describing new approaches, promising practices and by offering guidance. It includes focused sections on; internal
planning, establishing partnerships, and evaluating programs which help families achieve economic self-sufficiency.
